About the Goldbach Conjecture
The Conjecture
Every even integer greater than 2 can be expressed as the sum of two prime numbers.
Examples: 4 = 2 + 2, 6 = 3 + 3, 8 = 3 + 5, 10 = 3 + 7
Current Status
Verified up to approximately 4 × 10¹⁸, but not proven for all even numbers.
Big Integer Support
This explorer uses Big Integer arithmetic to verify the conjecture for very large even numbers.
